There is a new central non-emergency telephone number for contacting the police, namely: 101. If a matter is urgent, call 999.

Regular updates are incorporated in the committee meetings of the Mill Hill Park Residents’ Association, which Sandy attends.

Requests may be made via Sandy for personal alarms and SmartWater property-marking kits, free toresidents if available.

Visits by crime prevention officers can be arranged to review the security of your property. Again, contact Sandy for more information.

Advice to minimise thefts from cars: Try not to leave property on display when you leave your car unattended. If possible, empty your glove box. If you use a windscreen mounted SatNav or TomTom, please wipe the mark left on the windscreen when you remove it. Just because it isn’t on yourwindscreen doesn’t mean a thief will not still break into your car to have a look around.
